Have you noticed in Clara's 101 places to go, two numbers of her age is missing? Ages 16 and 23 are missing! It must of been when her life was in two different time streams, like in the Christmas special of the evil snowman ( age 23 ), and the Asylum of the Daleks ( age 16 ). Have any other theories?
